SEMIRARA MINING & POWER CORPORATION aims to maximize strategic and business opportunities and minimize adverse outcomes, thereby optimizing shareholder value and ensuring sustainable growth through an effective balance of risks and rewards. To achieve this, Semirara Mining and Power Corporation shall:

• Identify and act on internal and external issues that affect our strategic objectives and directions.
• Conduct risk and opportunities assessment and implement the necessary risk treatment to embed a culture of risk-based thinking throughout our operations.
• Improve continually its risk management system to enhance its business value.
• Integrate sustainable and responsible practices into our operations through energy efficiency and/or adapting applicable global climate action efforts towards a resilient economy.

Furthermore, Semirara Mining and Power Corporation ensures timely resumption of services to all stakeholders through the implementation of cost-efficient solutions. All departments shall support its business continuity efforts by providing up-to-date plans and procedures based on Business Continuity Management standards and practices.

This policy shall be communicated to all employees and those working on its behalf, as well as visitors and relevant stakeholders. They are in turn encouraged to report issues or concern that led to or will lead to issues and/or deviation from these commitments to the Management Team without fear of repression, reprimand or intimidation.
